Walsall is a mix, and the mix matters. The Victorian terraces around Caldmore and Palfrey still have a fair bit of lead and old iron in the ground, and a lot of them were converted to combis without the pipework being upgraded to match. The post-war semis out towards Ryecroft and Coalpool are mostly on 15mm with the original stopcocks.
